Vedanshi Wadhwa I am Vedanshi, an editor of GV’s Hapazagine. I am honored and excited to interview my grandfather about his profession of serving the nation. Here is an extract of the interview for your perusal. Daadu, can you please introduce yourself for our audience? My name is Subhash Chander Wadhwa, and I served the nation for 35 years. I have had the privilege to serve the nation through the Defense force followed by the paramilitary force, mainly in BSF and then in CISF. I travelled many places due to my job and have had a fulfilling job experience throughout. I retired as a Commandant from CISF. At present I live with my elder son in Bangalore and I am enjoying my retirement age with my kids and grandchildren. When did you join the Border Security Force and why?
